There was a time when I constantly felt overwhelmed by all there was to do with three kids, homeschooling and a business. These days, I feel like I have learned to embrace the chaos in my life and enjoy each day.
Yes, there is always a lot to do, and it seems we are constantly on the go.
But I have learned that by accepting help when I need it, the day-to-day tasks seem so much more manageable.
As an example, last week we had been running errands since early in the morning. Since we are 22 miles from the closest grocery store, all three kids and I spend the day running around stocking the freezer, pantry, and fridge.
It wasn’t exactly a fun day out, but we had made the best off it. By late afternoon, all of us were exhausted.
Rather than come home and try to figure out what to fix for dinner, I swung by Subway on our way back.
I have always loved how delicious Subway sandwiches are, and as a Mom, I also love their commitment to better ingredients.
Right now, Food Network personality Jeff Mauro has teamed up with Subway to promote their Build it Better cross-platform program which highlights Subway’s commitment to better ingredients as well as great quality delicious sandwiches.
One of my favorite Subway sandwiches is the Rotisserie-Style Chicken Sandwich. It is made with tender, hand-pulled all white meat chicken raised without antibiotics. I love it with spinach, red onion, fresh sliced tomato and green bell peppers.
You can’t walk into a Subway without smelling their delicious fresh baked bread. The Rotisserie-Style Chicken sandwich marries delicious fresh-baked bread with crisp, fresh veggies and tender chicken to create a meal that you feel good about serving your family. It is such an easy way to get the kids to eat their vegetables without complaining.
