As a society we talk a lot about how how Mom’s need to remember to take care of themselves, but we often forget about Dad’s.
Dad’s work so hard! From tea parties, to marathon swim sessions, my hubby really gives his all to our kids.
So this Father’s Day, I though it would be really fun to put together a self-care kit for him.
Just to remind him that with all he’s done for us that he’s still important too!
Here is what I put into it!
6 Must Have’s for a Father’s Day Gift Basket
1. Philips Sonicare Essence Toothbrush
Dad’s are great at a lot of things, but pampering themselves isn't usually one of them. Since a great toothbrush is the kind of thing that Dad may forget to buy himself, I think it is the perfect gift idea for Father’s Day. The Philips Sonicare Essence removes up to 2x more plaque than a manual toothbrush, helping Dad to feel and look his best this spring. The unique cleaning action gently and effectively reaches deep between teeth and along the gum line.
You can find the Philips Sonicare Essence Toothbrush at Walmart.
2. Quality Bath Products
Just because they are guys doesn’t mean that they don’t enjoy good quality bath products! (They just need YOU to buy them for them because they won’t.) Treat Dad to good quality shampoo and shower gel. There are many brands out there with great masculine scents.
3. Men’s Tool Kit
I picked up a great kit with a travel case that includes nail clippers, scissors, tweezers and a nail pusher. The perfect thing to have on hand the next time you treat Dad to a manicure.
4. Men’s Multigroom Kit
I was excited to find a rechargeable battery operated men’s grooming kit (also by Philips) for my Father's Day gift basket. It has a precision trimmer, mini-foil shaver, stubble comb, nose trimmer, beard comb and hair comb. Hubby’s hair grows really fast and it drives him crazy at the neckline when he’s between haircuts. Now I can help him feel his best all the time.
5. Loofa and Bath Sponges
Again, just because Men don’t buy this kind of tool doesn’t mean that they don’t enjoy a little pampering. Encourage Dad to take a long luxurious bath with the right tools.
Put the final touches on Dad’s Father’s Day Gift Basket with some chocolate! We made some homemade Almond Butter Chocolates, but anything Dad loves will do.
A special thanks to Philips Sonicare for sponsoring this post. Don't forget to check out Walmart and pick up a Philips Sonicare Essence Toothbrush for all the important Dads in your life!
