Like many of you, I’ve made a commitment this year to follow through with healthier habits. So when I got the opportunity from Babblebox to check out some health-focused products and share them with you, I jumped at the chance.
Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel On-the-Go Refreshingly Clean Towelette
With three kids, I’m always in the need to clean up someone when we are on the go! Especially fun is Skye’s new love of feeding me when we are eating out.
She’s 2 1/2 so of course, this results in food all over my face. I love these travel side Dickinson’s towelettes.
They have 100% natural witch hazel and are great for removing excess oil and impurities from the skin. The added aloe vera helps to keep your skin moisturized. How amazing is it to have a product that works for my skin AND is gentle enough for my toddler?

Birch Benders Pancakes
My kids love pancakes, and I’ve been trying to do better at cooking one meal for everyone, rather that play short-order cook like I am prone to do. This weekend we all enjoyed Birch Benders Pancakes. They are gluten-free, organic, and all you have to do is add water. It doesn’t get much better than that does it? (FYI, you can also make waffles with the mix.) The mix includes hazelnut meal, which gives them a great flavor.
I’ve said before that I’m all about the liquids! Since I don’t drink sodas, so it is coffee, tea, and water for me.
I love Stash Tea Organic Gold Cup Chai with Turmeric. I have been trying to add turmeric to everything I can from my quinoa to my garbanzo beans, so why not tea? This Indian spice is known for it’s brilliant yellow color, and you may also know that it is a powerful anti-inflammatory. Studies have shown it to be a great pain reliever and to be helpful in maximizing memory. (I need all the help I can get these days. :)) This herbal tea is caffeine-free making it perfect for any time of day.
For nighttime, I love the Organic Lavender Tulsi. I’ve long used lavender in my essential oil diffuser at night, and now I’m sipping it too. It is so relaxing to get the kids to bed, unwind and de-stress with a cup of tea. I had never had Tulsi before, but apparently according to folklore it is a healing balm for body, mind and spirit!

Cold-EEZE® Plus Natural Multi-Symptom Relief Cold & Flu lozenges
You may remember this post where I cited a study that showed that lozenges containing zinc have been shown to help you combat a cold. The kids all had colds last week, and I felt it coming on so I had a chance to test this with Cold-EEZE® Plus Natural Multi-Symptom Relief Cold & Flu lozenges. They are formulated with zinc gluconate, which is the same effective active ingredient found in the best-selling, clinically proven #1pharmacist recommended original Cold-EEZE® lozenges. The multi-symptom lozenges also help with a cough, congestion, and sore throat. I never got sick, so I can’t say if it helps with a cough and congestion, but it did ease my sore throat.
Stop & Drop Diet Book
I’m not big on “diets” but this book lays out a simple plan that is incredibly flexible. Perfect for someone in the very early stages of healthy eating looking to shed weight fast. It teaches readers to STOP eating unhealthy versions of foods they love and instead START with healthier versions. It is an excellent primer to help identify the best choices without having a ton of foods that are off limits and also good for those who rely on convenience foods. It offers a mix-and-match 21-day meal plan.
