Your skin is the largest organ in your body.
Yet for years I never gave a thought to how safe what I was putting on it was.
These days, I am a lot more careful. Parabens? No thanks.
Lately, I’m a big fan of NaturaliDerm Organic Facial Moisturizer.
NaturaliDerm Organic Facial Moisturizer Review
NaturaliDerm is a light moisturizer that hydrates while remaining non-greasy. I still deal with congested pores from time to time so this was a huge plus for me. The scent is very mild, so no worries about it interfering with whatever essential oil I happen to be wearing that day.
Best of all, the ingredients are “real” – as in words I can pronounce and that my 3rd grader can read.
- Aloe barbadensis – Hydrates and restores skin moisture
- Witch Hazel – Tightening pore size
- Shea Butter – Seals moisture, protects skin from damage
- Cocoa Butter – Seals moisture, protects skin from internal and environmental damage
- D-Panthenol – Skin conditioner and moisturizer.
Though I love all things natural, I’m still enough of a girl that I’m a sucker for packaging. Although the bottle isn’t anything fancy (and you wouldn’t expect it to be for the price) the pump really works and the bottle feels good in your hands. I’ve paid twice the amount for moisturizers in the past only to find myself fighting with the bottle after just a few weeks.
Although you could use NaturaliDerm at night, at my age I find that I need something a little more. Where the beauty of this moisturizer is is for daytime. I love how quickly it absorbs. With a toddler, I just don’t have 15 minutes to wait between moisturizing and putting on makeup and this leaves my skin soft while allowing me to put on make-up right away.
Another thing I love? No sunscreen. Most stander sunscreen ingredients have ingredients that are harmful. They can be potential hormone disruptors (and I have enough going on with my hormones, thank you!), can activate free radicals in the body and often have ingredients that have been linked to cancer. I prefer to wear a hat and take my chances with the sun.
If you are looking for a light moisturizer that gets the job done without being packed with nasty chemicals, I highly recommend NaturaliDerm Organic Facial Moisturizer.
