This time of year is so inspiring to me!
While some people focus on starting anew in January, I always feel much more inspired to clear my living space and start fresh in May. I love the warmer weather, open windows, flowers blooming and sounds of the kids playing in the yard.
One area that I am particularly excited about tackling this year is my bathroom space.

Simple Tips to Clean, Organize & Decorate Your BathroomClick To Tweet
I love the idea of going greener in the bath!
When we are ready to remodel, I will definitely been looking at the new brand that was introduced last year, W2 by WETSTYLE. This brand marries WETSTYLE’s design aesthetic and attention to quality with simplified design. It is the perfect way to make a statement in smaller bathrooms spaces!
In the meantime, care to join me in a little spring cleaning and organizing?
Step 1: Declutter
First up in my bathroom spring cleaning is a little decluttering. Who else has a bad habit of letting products hang out in your bathroom long after they’ve expired?
Here is a great resource to help you know when it it time to toss things out.
It is amazing how much better I feel when I am in a clutter-free space.
Step 2: Clean
Since I’m such a big fan of natural and eco-friendly alternative, I love to make my own cleaners. Here are a couple of posts on cleaning with essential oils.
Or if you want to keep things simple, try this trick. Put some baking soda in a glass grated cheese container. (Like you would see at a pizza place.) Add 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. (I love lavender in the bathroom.) Sprinkle it on your sink, tub, shower and vanity before scrubbing! For tough stains, you can make a paste and allow it to sit for 30 minutes before scrubbing.
Step 3: Organize
Now that everything is sparkly clean, it is time to get organized. At this point you should have already decluttered, so that means everything in your bathroom is staying.
Being organized isn’t my strong suit, so I decided to pick up some new storage containers to make things easier.
Since I’m always inspired by pretty things, I picked up some craft paper to line them with.
It is amazing how great a clean, organized space can make you feel!
