It might surprise some of you to learn that I never set out to be a blogger. It was a gradual evolution that happened over time, fueled by my desire to stay home with my kids.
Five years ago, I started Cooking Quinoa, thinking I might make a little extra money in “internet marketing”. Two books, 11 ebooks and 800+ posts later, here we are.
Back then, the consensus was that you couldn’t make money with a food blog. Only I didn’t know what a food blog was. And since I didn’t know any other bloggers, no one told me this.
By no means am I a big blogger; I do make a full-time income. I feel fortunate for this ability to be home doing something I love.
