Make your fall one to remember, with these 8 Amazing Activities for Your Fall Bucket List!
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Nestlé Starbucks Coffee. The opinions and text are all mine.
If I had to pick my favorite time of year, it would be fall.
While I love spring, there is just something about fall that grabs me every year. It excites me, motivates me, and makes me a little nostalgic all at once.
Every year at the beginning of the season, I make a ‘Fall Bucket List’ for our family. I make a list so I don’t forget or miss anything that I want to do this time of the year.. We are so busy with everyday life, it can be easy to forget to take the time to savor the season.
Fall Bucket List
Get Your Pumpkin Spice On!
First things first.
Everyone knows that fall wouldn’t be the same without pumpkin spice. It is one of the best parts of the season, and I know you guys get just as excited by it as I do. Enjoying Pumpkin Spice Coffee sets the stage for a great fall!
Starbucks® Pumpkin Spice K-Cup® pods make it easy to savor the best of fall in the comfort of your own home. I have been getting my pumpkin spice on in the morning, and this weekend I took a moment to myself to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and a fall flavored treat from the Publix bakery. I couldn’t decide so I picked up an Apple Fritter and a Frosted Nut-Topped Muffin and had a bit of each. They were so good and went perfectly with my Pumpkin Spice Coffee.
You can pick up the Starbuck Pumpkin Spice K-Cup® pods or ground coffee and Fall Blend ground coffee or K-Cup® pods at Publix! The limited-time fall coffees all offer fantastic flavor, regardless of whether you brew it from ground coffee or K-Cup® pods.
What could be better than Starbucks limited-time fall coffees and Publix bakery items to serve at an intimate get-together with your close friends or loved ones?

Go on a Picnic
Summer picnics get all the glory, but I think fall is the best time of year for one. A picnic when the leaves are changing, and the air is cool is magical. If you live somewhere where it gets cold, take advantage of this last opportunity to enjoy the outdoors without needing to bundle up. (And bonus points: chances are you can leave the bug spray home this time of year!)
Your menu doesn’t need to be complicated!
Grab your basket and blanket, and pack up some sandwiches and snacks. Don’t forget to bring a thermos of Pumpkin Spiced Coffee, and some goodies from the Publix Bakery for dessert!
Plant a Fall Garden or Indoor Bulbs
Now is the perfect time for you to plant flowers that will make your garden beautiful through the winter.
Depending on where you live, you can plant pansies and Christmas Roses. It is also a great time to plant bulbs that will flower in the spring.
If you live in a climate like I do where bulbs don’t grow, a fun project with the kids is to teach them how to force paperwhites (tricking them to bloom early or indoors)! It is a great learning project, and if you time it right, you can have beautiful flowers indoors for the holidays.
Eat Lunch at an Outdoor Cafe
Before the weather turns too cold, take the time to enjoy perfect temperatures and schedule lunch with your best friends. There is nothing like a sunny afternoon with a little girl-time to recharge.
(And then have them back to your house for an afternoon coffee and dessert gab session with Starbucks Pumpkin Spice coffee and bakery treats from Publix.)
Take a Walk in the Woods and Enjoy the Leaves
This one won’t work for those of us in the deep South, but one of my favorite ways to savor fall is with a walk in the crisp air when the leaves are turning. It is a must for your fall bucket list!
I have such vivid memories of the fall we spent in Colorado when I was pregnant with Skye.
There is something so magical about a walk through the woods with the kids, enjoying the kaleidoscope of warm colors dappling from the trees.
(If you manage to do this one, take a photo and email it to me. I SO miss the leaves.)
Go Apple Picking!
If apples grow where you live, this is a must for your fall bucket list.
You will never regret spending an afternoon with the kids apple picking. It is a quintessential fall activity that they will remember for years to come.
If you live in Florida, you can sub apples for oranges, but it doesn’t have quite the same fall feel, does it? Ok, maybe it will work if you take some Pumpkin Spice coffee with you!
Visit a Pumpkin Patch
If your kids are small enough not to roll their eyes at the suggestion, plan a visit to a pumpkin patch. You can find ones near you with a quick online search. Many of them offer other fun fall activities. Don’t forget your camera!
Host a Pot Luck Dinner
Fall entertaining doesn’t need to be complicated! Invite your neighbors over for a potluck dinner. It is an easy way to get everyone together to celebrate the season. Don’t forget to have plenty of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice coffee on hand for dessert!
