Sometimes in my comfortable but busy world, I forget how fortunate I am.
As a mom, it is so easy to get overwhelmed with all there is to do that we forget that there are moms out there who are instead worried about how they are going to get the next meal on the table. I can’t imagine the stress they must feel.
Today I’d like to share with you a charitable cause that highlights child hunger: The 4th annual Hunger Heros Tyson Back to School program at Sam’s Club.
Right now Tyson and Sam’s Club are teaming up to fight hunger. They’ve donated 1 Million meals over the last few years. Help them double that and donate 1 Million this year alone. This is an impressive jump from the 360,000 meals that were given last year.
For every bag or box of specially marked packages, Tyson Foods will donate a 4 ounce serving to a child in need.
Not only is this a great cause and also an excellent way to teach your children that there are others less fortunate.
Participating products include Tyson® Chicken Nuggets, Tyson Crispy Strips, Tyson Popcorn Chicken, Jimmy Dean® Pancakes & Sausage, State Fair® Corn Dogs, Jimmy Dean Mini Pancake Sandwiches, Jimmy Dean Stuffed Hashbrowns, and Tyson Frozen Chicken Breasts. You can stock up at Sam’s Club so that you always have a quick and easy meal on hand. Keeping my freezer stocked is the one thing that keeps me sane during this crazy time of year.
I let the kids pick out the Jimmy Dean Pancakes & Sausage, which is an easy breakfast on the go. They love the taste, and I love the convenience and that we are helping a child in need.
Head to Sam’s Club so that your family can be #HungerHeroes too!
For every purchase made of select items, Tyson Foods, Inc. will donate a serving of protein (4 oz.), up to 1 Million servings to children in need. Offer good 7/26/16 to 9/26/16. Look for specially marked packages while supplies last.
