As a homeschooling mom, getting my boys to focus is a daily struggle.
Essential Oils for ADD
Vetiver Apply vetiver to the feet focusing on the big toe for improved concentration. You can also use it in a necklace with a pendant that will absorb the oil and can be smelled throughout the day.
Roman Chamomile and Lavender are excellent oils for hyperactivity. Diffuse the oils or apply them on the insides of the wrists and behind the ears.
Balance, Calming Blend, Frankincense, Lavender and Ylang Ylang are all great for dealing occasional anger, frustration and impatience. Apply them to the feet, on the back of the neck or behind the knees. You may also diffuse them into the air.
Cedarwood works to oxygenate the brain which can result in an improved clarity of thought. It can also work to balance the emotions, which can be particularly effective in dealing with anger and frustration that often comes with school work. Cedarwood diffused in the air can have a calming effect.
