Feeling anxious or depressed? This Find Your Zen Inhaler Blend can help calm your nerves so you can do the work necessary to feel better.

Find Your Zen Inhaler Blend pThe idea that essential oils can hep with depression and to manage moods may be new to you, but think about how ANY smell can impact how you feel - from your Mom's cookies baking to the smell of a hospital.

I mentioned last week  that lately I've been a bit stressed, anxious and generally out of sorts.

I've realized that I've been so focused on taking care of everyone else that I've been completely neglecting self-care.    This includes doing anything for fun, taking the time to reflect and even the basics like getting a hair cut.

The result is anxiety that I struggle to escape.  I can best describe it as a near constant feeling that there is something twisting in my back.  I look at my to-do list and get completely overwhelmed.  It doesn't matter what I'm doing; I feel like there is something else I also need to be doing at that moment.

I know most every mom struggles with overwhelm from time to time.

Although I am so tired that I'm tempted just to give into it, eat chocolate all day and wait for this season of life to pass, I know that won't solve anything.    I've added some supplements to my routine; I'm trying to balance my diet with quality protein and lots of veggies; I'm going to be taking some downtime and reading a novel this weekend, and I'm also breaking out my essential oils to help manage depression and my moods.

The idea that essential oils can help to manage moods may be foreign to some of you.  But if you think about it, all kinds of smells can impact your mood, from the smell of your Grandmother's cookie recipe baking in the oven to the smell of a nursing home.

This is thanks to the connection between our limbic system (which controls our moods) and our sense of smell.

This is one of my favorite blends when I need a lift!

The Quality of The Essential Oils You Use Matters!

After looking closely at the quality, purity, and ethics of so many companies, I've fallen in love with both the company and their oils. They have a large line of organic oils and are serious about safety. Every single batch is tested to ensure purity!

How much would you put in a diffuser and how big is your diffuser?
