These Mango Slushies are a great treat for simple entertaining. With a kid-friendly option, this is one the whole family will crave.
Mango Slushies

A big focus this holiday season for our family is keeping stress to a minimum.

Typically, I go into major overwhelm mode this time of year. My oldest son’s birthday is a week before Christmas. Combine this with getting ready for Christmas with three kids, and things can get really out of hand if I let them.

One thing I am doing is stocking up on all the things I’ll need for casual entertaining.

This week I stocked up on A&W®, 7UP®, Canada Dry®, Sunkist®, Sun Drop®, RC Cola®, Squirt® at my local Walmart for only $1.00!

This is a real treat around our house. To sweeten up the deal, you can get a $5 VUDU credit with a purchase of 10 2-liters or 5 .5L six packs during the month of December at Walmart. This means we can relax and enjoy movies right in our home.

Just because we are keeping our entertaining casual, doesn’t mean it has to be boring. I’ll be making these Mango Slushes for a get together this weekend. I don’t know how your kids react, but mine always get excited when they have a special drink at parties. I’ll have everything measured out and let Alex take control of the blender for the kids drinks. (While I supervise, of course.)
