Looking for a more natural alternative to traditional cleansers? Give this Oil Cleansing Method a try! There are variations for every skin type, so no matter what condition your skin is in this is an option for you.
I am a big believer in rotating your beauty products and though I love the skin care line, I also like to make my own.
Obviously washing your face is important. It get’s rid of make-up, dead cells and even pollution. It is important - especially as we age - to get rid of oil and grime without stripping the skin of it’s natural oils. Many cleansers contain sulfates which can be drying and irritating and also may be contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, a carcinogen. We also wand to avoid polyethylene glycols, sulfates and propylene glycol.
One of my favorite ways of cleaning my face? Oil Washing! It is free of drying ingredients and helps to balance the skins natural production of oil.
To use this method, massage the oils into yours skin and place a warm washcloth on your face until it cools. Then rinse! No need to tone or moisturize unless you want to!

The Quality of The Essential Oils You Use Matters!
After looking closely at the quality, purity, and ethics of so many companies, I've fallen in love with both the company and their oils. They have a large line of organic oils and are serious about safety. Every single batch is tested to ensure purity!

Why do you use Castor Oil along with the carrier oil? Can you use all carrier oil?
Wendy Polisi
The castor oil is cleansing. If you have very dry/mature skin you could use all castor oil. I've always had oily skin but at 44 it is now dry. Still, I find my skin shiny without the castor oil.
