There are a lot of great blends for muscle pain out there, but many of them smell terrible. I don't know about you, but I'm not meeting a girlfriend for lunch smelling like Ben-Gay! This Post-Workout Essential Oil Soothing Blend smells great and does a great job of soothing sore muscles.
You could use a carrier oil instead of lotion, but I prefer lotion since it dries quicker.
Post-Workout Essential Oil Soothing Blend
2 ounces plain lotion
10 drops cardamom
4 drops ginger
10 drops tangerine
8 drops lavender
Combine ingredients in a small glass bowl and stir to combine. Transfer to a glass or oil-safe plastic container.
