Ingredients

  • FRIES
  • 2 large Hass avocados peeled and pitted
  • ½ teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • 3 tablespoons refined avocado oil
  • DIPPING SAUCE
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise homemade or store-bought
  • ¾ teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • FOR GARNISH
  • teaspoon dried parsley
  • teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Make the fries: Cut the avocados lengthwise into fry like strips (4 or 5 strips per avocado half.) Lay the strips on a clean surface and dust with ½ teaspoon Seasoning Salt, covering all surfaces.
  • Place the avocado oil in a large frying pan and turn the heat to medium. Heat for 1 minute.
  • Add the avocado strips to the hot oil and fry until golden on one side, about 4 minutes. (Fry them in two batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan.) Carefully flip each strip over and repeat until all the strips are golden on all sides. Transfer the completed fries to a clean plate and repeat with any remaining uncooked fries.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the dipping sauce. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise with the ¾ teaspoon Seasoning Salt and the vinegar.
  • Once all the fries are done, sprinkle with the parsley and pepper. Serve with the dipping sauce and enjoy immediately.
