25-Minute Air Fryer Oatmeal Cookies

Is there anything better than a fresh, warm cookie? How about a fresh, warm oatmeal cookie made in your air fryer? These cookies are easy to make and taste delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups old-fashioned oats

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter, sour cream, granulated sugar, and brown sugar for 2 minutes.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat on medium for about 30 seconds.
  • Reduce speed to medium-low, and add the flour mixture until just combined.
  • Add the oats, and beat on low speed until they are incorporated into the cookie dough.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes. (Optional, but recommended to minimize spread.)
  • Using a cookie scoop to measure out the dough and roll it into balls. Press each ball down using your fingertips.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 300 degrees.
  • Line your air fryer with an air fryer liner and arrange the cookies in a single layer, being careful not to put them too close.
  • Cook for 7 to 9 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned.
  • Allow to cool in the air fryer for about 5 minutes, and then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
