30-Minute Air Fryer Pizza Pockets

Air fried pizza pockets are always a hit! (Oh, and did I mention they taste so much better than Hot Pockets?) Whether you're looking for a recipe to get the whole family in the kitchen together or just want to indulge in some pizza-inspired goodness, you're going to love this one!

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces refrigerated pie crust about 2 crusts
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan
  • 2 teaspoons pizza seasoning or Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup chopped pepperoni optional
  • 1 cup marinara
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375 °F.
  • Roll out the pie crusts and cut into 6 circles. (About 5 Inches)
  • Gather the rest of the dough and roll out again. Cut into 2 more circles.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the mozzarella, parmesan, and pizza seasoning.
  • Divide the cheese and pepperoni mixture between the circles and top each with 1 tablespoon of marinara.
  • Using a silicone brush, dab the edge of the circle with milk.
  • Fold the circles in half and crimp the edges with a fork. (Or use an empanada press.)
  • Brush the crust with the beaten egg.
  • Cook in a single layer for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Serve with the remaining marinara.

Oven Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  • Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Serve with the remaining marinara.
