INGREDIENTS
– 1 cup packed light brown sugar – ½ cup half and half – ½ cup unsalted butter divided – ½ teaspoon sea salt – ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste – 2 bananas peeled and sliced – ½ cup pecans toasted and chopped
– Heat a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.

– Cook, stirring often, for 4 to 6 minutes, or until the mixture is slightly thickened.
– Remove from the heat, and stir in the vanilla and remaining butter. Whisk for 1 minute or until smooth.
