Equipment

  • Blackstone Griddle

Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce bag frozen French fries, thawed slightly
  • cup avocado or canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Remove your fries from the freezer and separate them into a bowl. Let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes while your griddle preheats.
  • Preheat your griddle to medium-low. If your griddle has a cover, keep it down while you are preheating.
  • Spread the oil out in an even layer on the section of the griddle you will be cooking your fries.
  • Add the slightly thawed fries in a single layer. Be careful to break them apart before adding to your griddle if you have any large clumps that are stuck together.
  • Close the lid if you have one, and let them cook undisturbed for 7 minutes.
  • Stir, and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Season with salt and serve warm.
