25-Minute Air Fryer Mushrooms

These Air Fryer Mushrooms are totally unforgettable. They are the only thing I want to eat on top of a steak and are also fabulous with burgers. Dinner bliss! No Air Fryer? You can make them in the oven too!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

For Topping

  • 3 tablespoons grass-fed butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat an air fryer to 370 degrees.
  • Place the mushrooms in a medium bowl and toss with oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Place in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
  • While the mushrooms cook, melt the butter in a small pot or skillet. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, and crushed red pepper.
  • Toss mushrooms with butter. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Oven Instructions

  • Preheat an oven to 400 degrees.
  • Season the mushrooms as instructed above and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cook for 18 to 22 minutes, until tender.
  • Proceed with the rest of the recipe as above.
