Ninja Creami Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Ninja Creami Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream is a crowd-pleasing make-ahead dessert that requires barely any work.  This creamy treat comes together in less than 10 minutes of hands-on time and delivers a decadently creamy texture that will wow your friends and family. It is a satisfying treat that is the perfect ending to any meal.

INGREDIENTS

– 1 ½ cups half and half – ⅓ cup sugar – ½ teaspoon mint extract – ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract – ⅛ teaspoon salt – 4 - 6 drops green food coloring optional – ¼ cup miniature chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

– Place the half-and-half sugar, mint extract, vanilla extract, salt, and food coloring in a blender.  Process until smooth.

– Transfer to a Creami pint container and freeze for 24 hours.

– Remove the lid, and place in the outer bowl of the Creami.  Add the lid and lock in place on the unit.

– Press the ice cream button and process according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

– Make a well in the center of the ice cream, and add the chocolate. 

– Return to the base and process on re-spin.
