Ninja Foodi Grill Steak

Steak is the ultimate in luxurious fast food, and it doesn't get any better than this Ninja Foodi Grill Steak. When you take a perfectly charred steak that is juicy on the inside and then top it off with garlic chive butter, you have a meal that feels fancy but requires little hands-on time.


– ½ cup salted butter softened – 1 tablespoon chopped chives – 1 teaspoon minced garlic – 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice – ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes – ¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper – 1 ½ pounds boneless strip steaks – 1 ½ teaspoons sea salt – ¾ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper – 1 tablespoon avocado oil or other high heat oil

– Place the softened butter in a bowl and add the chives, garlic, lemon juice, crushed red pepper flakes and black pepper.

– Stir until throughly combined. Form into a log and wrap with parchment paper. – Place in the refrigerator.

– Season the steaks with salt and pepper and allow to sit at room temperature for 1 hour. – Brush with oil.

– Select GRILL HIGH, and press START/STOP to start preheating.

– When the unit is preheated, place the steaks on the grill grate. Press them down for maximum charring. – Close the hood.

– Cook for 5 minutes and flip. Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes more (for medium-rare) or to desired doneness. (Use an instant-read thermometer.) – Remove the steaks from the grill and place the butter slices on top. – Tent with foil and allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
