Pressure Cooker Jasmine Rice (Instant Pot or Ninja Foodi)

If you want an easy way to make deliciously fluffy rice, you will love this Instant Pot Jasmine Rice.  With less than five minutes of hands-on time, you have a delicious side dish that will keep you coming back for more.  Give it a try, and you will wonder why you ever made rice any other way.

INGREDIENTS

– 3 cups white jasmine rice – 3 ½ cups water or vegetable broth – 1 teaspoon sea salt – ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper – 2 tablespoons butter optional

– Rinse the rice well. – Place the rice, water or broth, salt, and pepper in the inner bowl of the Instant Pot.

– Cut the butter into cubes and add to the Instant Pot if you are using.

– Put the lid on the pot, and set it to sealing.

– Set to high pressure, and set the time for 5 minutes.

– When the time is up do a natural pressure release for 10 minutes, and then do a quick release.

– Carefully open the lid. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Stir well and serve warm.
