Spiced Candied Pecans

This recipe for Candied Spiced Pecans is an absolute delight. Made with a simple combination of sugar, warming spices, and pecans, these nuts turn into irresistibly crunchy clusters that you'll want to snack on all day. It's the kind of treat that makes your kitchen smell amazing and has everyone asking for just one more handful.


– 1 cup sugar – 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon – 1 teaspoon sea salt – ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg – ¼ teaspoon ground cloves – ¼ cup water – 2 cups pecan halves

– Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

– Place the sugar, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, cloves and water in a large saucepan. 

– Place over medium-low low heat and cook, stirring frequently, until the sugar melts. 

– Continue to cook, stirring constantly as the mixture gets warmer, until the mixture reaches 232 degrees F (soft ball stage) . 

– Towards the end, you may want to turn the stove down to medium-low so that you can better control the heat.

– Remove the pot from heat. Stir in the pecans.

– Spread on a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Allow to cool.
