Honey Glazed Carrots

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds carrots
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice about ½ orange
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (Foil works as well.)
  • Peel and trim the carrots, and cut them into pieces and place them in a bowl.
  • In a small bowl, stir together the honey, butter, orange juice, cumin, salt, and pepper.  Pour the honey mixture over the carrots. Stir well to make sure all of the carrots are coated.
  • Arrange on the baking sheet.  Cook for 22 to 28 minutes, stirring occasionally.
