Having a healthy respiratory system is key to defending your body against seasonal threats.
Essential Oils have helped our family tremendously.
These days I look to natural solutions to support my respiratory system and protect against seasonal and environmental elements. The benefits? Clear breathing and a healthy inflammatory response.
Here are the strategies I use to help when traveling, attending outdoor events, or when seasonal or environmental elements are particularly high.
(Note: I am not a doctor or healthcare provider. These recipes are simply what has worked for our family. When I speak of ingesting essential oils I am only referring to pure oils. Please do not ingest oils without thorough research into the purity.)
Choosing an Essential Oil Company to Trust with Your Health is a Big Decision
I recommend Rocky Mountain Oils because I honestly believe they are the best oils for the money. They have strong ethics about oil production and grow their oils in their native environment. All of their oils are either organically certified, organically grown or wild crafted with no adulterating. (Most oils you buy at the local health food store are adulterated with propylene glycol or a similar substances. )
I love that they are NOT an MLM, so there are no required orders or membership fees. They offer free shipping, so it makes sense to order even if you just need one bottle!

To do a steam, bring water to a boil and carefully pour into a ceramic bowl. Add 1 drop of the blend to steaming (but not boiling) water. Close your eyes and lean over the bowl to breath in the oil. It is helpful to place a towel over your head. Steam for 5 to 15 minutes.

5 drops Frankincense
5 drops Melaleuca

Place essential oils in a small bowl.
Pick up the white cotton element with tweezers and place in the oil. Allow to saturate.
Place the cotton over the upside down inhaler tube and drop the cotton in. Put the “butt” on the bottom of the inhaler and push so it is fully inserted and prevents the cotton from coming out.
Use as needed, typically at least 3 times a day.
