One of my favorite essential oils without question is lavender.

Not only do I love the way it smells, but I also love all the many things that it does. As a Mom, it is one oil that I am almost never without. From cuts and bruises to abrasions, lavender always has my back.

Despite my love for lavender essential oil, I have to confess that cooking with lavender is something that I haven't done. Thanks to our travel lifestyle, it has been years since I've had a garden and it isn't often that I see lavender in the grocery store.
