Ready in less than 15 minutes, Air Fryer Green Beans are a simple yet timeless side dish. Crisp green beans are seasoned and tossed with oil, lemon juice, and lemon zest for a vibrant tang. A sprinkle of walnuts adds the perfect texture, making it an elegant dish that is easy enough for a weeknight but fit for a special occasion.

The air fryer is hands-down one of my most loved kitchen gadgets. It simplifies cooking while delivering delicious results every time.
Since green beans are one of my favorite vegetables, these air fried green beans are a weeknight go-to in my home. They have also been known to appear on my holiday menus.
They are delicious, super quick, and flavor-packed!

Ingredients
- Green beans: You can use a bag of pre-trimmed green beans to save time. Haricot verts will work in this recipe too.
- Oil: Either avocado oil or olive oil work well here.
- Lemon: You’ll want the zest and juice of 1 small lemon. If you have a large lemon, you can reserve the juice from half of it for another use, or use it to drizzle a little lemon juice on to finish the dish.
- Salt: I recommend sea salt, kosher salt or table salt.
- Lemon pepper: This adds an extra kick of flavor; if you don’t have it you can use freshly ground black pepper.
- Walnuts: Feel free to use your favorite nut.

Tips and Tricks
- Shake Halfway: When making
- Check for Doneness: Depending on your air fryer, cooking times may vary slightly. Check for tenderness and adjust accordingly.
- Experiment with Flavors: Feel free to try different seasonings. Garlic powder, thyme, and red pepper flakes are nice additions. We also like finishing with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
- Leftovers: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. They will last for up to three days. I like reheating in my air fryer, but you can use the microwave or your oven.
