Iced Mocha Lattes are the perfect way to power through a mid-day slump! I enjoy this recipe most every day. Some days I have time to sit and linger, and other days are more hurried. Either way, this delicious cold coffee is the perfect guilt-free way to treat yourself. (And a great way to cure a chocolate craving!)

Take Time for Yourself With This Iced Mocha Latte Recipe!

I will be the first to admit that I’m not good at taking it easy.

It is something I am trying to work on because I know how important downtime is to our self-care.

One of my favorite ways to recharge is to take 15 minutes to myself and sip a cold mocha latte while reading a magazine.

It is amazing how just a few minutes to recharge can completely transform my day.

This Iced Mocha Latte Recipe is so simple to make - no barista experience required!

How to Make an Iced Mocha Latte

    Step 1: Gather your ingredients.

You will need cooled coffee, cocoa powder, cashew milk (or any milk you choose), and Swerve confectioners sweetner.

Photo of a mason jar of cooled coffee, a measuring cup with milk, and white prep bowls of cocoa powder and Swerve sweetener with an immersion blender behind it.

Step 2: Blend the milk and powders.

Pour the milk in a tall container (I like to use a mason jar), and add the cocoa powder and Swerve. Using an immersion blender, process until smooth. You can also use a blender.

Photo of a mason jar with milk, cocoa powder, and Serve being mixed together with an immersion blender.

    Step 3: Add the coffee.

Add the coffee to the jar and process until combined.

Step 4: Add ice and serve!

Place ice in glasses and pour the mixture over. Enjoy!

    Frequently Asked Questions:

Can this cold mocha latte be made ahead of time?

Absolutely! You can make it ahead of time and then re-blend when you are ready to serve, or you can store it in a mason jar and shake to combine.

I have a nut allergy. Can I use another milk?

Any milk works here! For a richer drink you can use canned coconut milk or half-and-half. Other options include hemp milk and regular milk.

Variations for this Iced Mocha Latte Recipe:

    • Add ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
    • For a creamier latte, add 3 tablespoons of coconut cream.
    • You can substitute any sweetener you like - including maple syrup or honey.
    • Add 1 tablespoon MCT oil and a scoop of collagen powder to turn this into breakfast.
    • Add 2 drops good quality peppermint essential oil or a teaspoon of peppermint extract.

    Tips & Tricks:

    • Instead of using ice that can water down your drink, plan ahead and make coffee ice cubes! It is a great way to use leftover coffee, and also ensures that you get a bold coffee taste.
    • This recipe makes two servings. If you are just making it for yourself you can go ahead and make both servings and store one in a mason jar in the fridge. Then when you are ready to enjoy simply shake, add ice if desired, and drink from the jar with a straw. (While I use paper straws for photos, for everyday use I like stainless reusable straws.)

This latte looks delicious. I love to make special drinks with our Keurig because Starbucks prices are just too high!

I'm not the biggest fan of coffee, but this does sound really good. I like some coffee drinks. I'll have to give this one a try.

Even though it's colder here today, I could totally go for one of these. Iced coffee is one of my favorite guilty treats.
