This DIY Salt Scrub with essential oils is a game changer when it comes to having smooth skin! If you are looking to combat dry skin, making a Coconut Salt Scrub is one of the best ways to do it that I've found!
I'm not fond of reptiles.
I can handle bugs. Even spiders are ok.
But get me to close to a reptile, and you will find me standing on the hood of the car as hysterical as a tired toddler whose ice cream just fell on the ground.
When you hate reptiles as much as I do, you most definitely don't want to feel like one.
But you know...life. It happens.
From time to time I touch my legs and get the urge to jump on that car roof.
This happens despite the fact that I can be a bit of a product junkie, and my bathroom cabinets are filled with more lotions and potions than I'm proud of.
Lately, since I've started making more of my products, I've found that I like many of the things I'm making more than more expensive products I buy.
And when I like stuff, especially when I like how it smells, I will use it more often.
Which means our car hood feels much safer.
This DIY Salt Scrub comes together in a flash, and truthfully it has been a game changer for my skin.
As much as I try to remember to moisturize all over after I shower, often one of the kids is pounding on the bathroom door and my time gets cut short. The coconut oil in this salt scrub is so moisturizing that I almost don't NEED to moisturize.
I can already tell a significant difference in how my skin feels.
Feel free to play around with the essential oils - just be conscious of which ones are phototoxic and avoid those!
DIY Salt Scrub

½ cup Epsom Salts
24 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
