This DIY Milk Bath with Essential Oils is the perfect way to unwind after a hectic day.  DIY Stress Away Milk Bath

Where has this DIY Stress Away Milk Bath been all my life?

Let's face it guys...Momming is hard work.

I am naturally high-strung, to begin with, and I also crave a great deal of quiet in my day.

Sadly, quiet and kids don't go hand in hand.

I knew this before I had kids, but nothing could have prepared me for the reality.

When the boys were small, I heard that the definition of a boy is noise with dirt.

Oh, my. That is so true.

I am not altogether sure that Skye is any quieter, truth be told.

Quite often, she can be found singing at the top of her lungs.  Which sounds less like singing and more like shouting at this age.

Usually, it is when I have a deadline and am trying hard to concentrate. (It is like she knows...)

I thought that as the boys got older, the noise would be less of an issue.

    Who was I kidding?

I think my oldest has gotten louder as he has gotten older. Soon, that loudness is also going to be deeper.

Something else to stress about - I will have a teenager this year. Gulp. I mean yes, peace and quiet is lovely, but I don't want the kids to grow up.

Just a few moments of alone time now and then.

Or daily. Daily would be nice.

Although I could do better, as I've gotten older, I have gotten much better about claiming time for myself. One of my favorite ways to unwind is with a nice bath and a book.

The Quality of The Essential Oils You Use Matters!

After looking closely at the quality, purity, and ethics of so many companies, I've fallen in love with both the company and their oils. They have a large line of organic oils and are serious about safety. Every single batch is tested to ensure purity!

This DIY Stress Away Milk Bath is the perfect addition to my quiet time.

It is so relaxing and leaves my skin looking and feeling great.

I like to dim the lights, get my diffuser going and lose myself in a novel. Preferably something completely silly that doesn't require me to think. Like a romance novel where the leading lady falls for a drop dead gorgeous guy, who happens to be a billionaire.

You can, of course, play around with the oils in this Milk Bath! It would be great with Sweet Dreams for baths just before bed!

    6 drops Lavender essential oil
4 drops Clary Sage essential oil
2 drops Ylang Ylang essential oil

Place coconut milk in a jar and add Lavender, Clary Sage, and Ylang Ylang. Place lid on the jar and shake until well combined.

Transfer to a pretty bottle if desired. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
