This Sweet Potato Fry Dipping Sauce is a healthy sweet potato fry dip that you will find yourself craving! This quick sauce is just as good on grilled chicken as it is sweet potato fries!
I've said before that I am all about the liquids. Tea, coffee, wine...
They are my jam.
But I should also add to that statement, that I am also all about the sauces. Give me a bowl of veggies, a grain or wrap, and a good sauce and I am a happy, happy girl.
So of course when it comes to fries, which are meant for dipping, I need a great sauce to go with them.
Typically, I like to go beyond the traditional.
I mean ketchup is ok, but what I really like - whether we are talking Sweet Potato Fries or French Fries - is to whip up something a little different.
Now I am not talking complicated. Because let's be real - who has the time for that?
This Sweet Potato Fries Dipping sauce has just eight simple ingredients. (Most of them you probably already have in your refrigerator or pantry.)
This dip takes less than five minutes to make, leaving you all the time you need for the important stuff. (Like eating those fries. Don't worry, I have you covered on those too. You are going to want to check out this recipe for Healthy Sweet Potato Fries. You can bake them, but I love to make them in my Air Fryer.)
You can make this dip as healthy (or not) as you like. I used half yogurt and half mayonnaise, but if you want you can use all yogurt. Or all mayo. (The all mayo option is great if you are on keto. Though if you were on keto you would need a dipping sauce for sweet potato fries, would you? But you might need a dip for your Avocado Fries, and this would be a great option)
Frequently Asked Questions for Sweet Potato Fries Dipping Sauce:
- How Long Can You Keep This Recipe in the Refrigerator?
- This recipe will keep chilled for up to four days.
- Can I make this recipe with just Greek Yogurt?
- Absolutely! The taste and texture are slightly improved with the use of mayonnaise, but I've made this and similar recipes on numerous occasions with just yogurt. I recommend either using a full fat or 2% yogurt, but fat-free will work as well.
