Ingredients
- Chopped Pineapple: Fresh pineapple brings a bright, tropical flavor that's key to this sorbet. Canned or frozen pineapple may be used if you like. If you use canned pineapple, drain the light syrup or pineapple juice and use it to freshen up leftovers on the re-spin cycle.
- Sweetener: I recommend sugar or honey, but feel free to use your favorite sweetener. Agave syrup works to keep this vegan.
- Water: For a tropical twist, you you use coconut milk instead of water.
- Lemon Juice: Freshly squeeed is best. Lime juice is also an option.
- Sea Salt: Enhances all the flavors and keeps the sorbet from tasting flat.

Step by Step

Tips and Tricks
- Choose Ripe Pineapple: For the best flavor, use a ripe pineapple. It should be golden and slightly soft to the touch. Frozen or canned pineapple are also options.
- Adjust Sweetness: I recommend tasting the base before freezing your sorbet. It is the perfect time to add a bit more sweetener if necessary.
- Blend Thoroughly: Ensure your mixture is completely smooth before freezing. This will give you a creamy texture.
- Reprocess if Needed: If the sorbet is too chunky after the first cycle, simply reprocess on the respin cycle for a smoother consistency.
- Storage: Store leftover sorbet in the Creami pint container with the storage lid in your freezer.
