These Blackstone tacos are what I make when I need a quick meal I know the kids will love. These classic ground beef tacos are tangy, a little garlicky, and your flat-top griddle makes them so easy. Ready in about 20 minutes, they’re made for busy weeknights without sacrificing flavor.

If you like making Taco Tuesday easier and tastier, you will love making tacos on the Blackstone griddle.
It's a classic ground beef taco recipe, but it's made easier (and tastier) with your griddle.
Serve them up with my Mexican Slaw, Jalapeno Coleslaw, or Chipotle Salsa. Spanish Cauliflower Rice or Mexican Brown Rice are also fabulous additions to your table.

Tips and Tricks
- Spice It Up: Consider adding a diced chipotle chili pepper or sprinkling in ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper to your meat mixture for a spicy twist. Finish with your favorite hot sauce.
- Garnish Galore: Don't shy away from dressing up your tacos. Serving suggestions include shredded cheese, crisp lettuce, freshly chopped tomato, creamy avocado slices, tangy pickled red onions, zesty pickled jalapeños, rich guacamole, fresh cilantro, and a dollop of sour cream.
- Warm Those Tortillas: Remember, the tortillas are the foundation of any good taco. Warming them on the griddle not only makes them more pliable (less breakage when folding or wrapping) but also imparts a slight toasted flavor that's irresistible. Keep them warm using foil or a clean kitchen towel till you're ready to serve.

Blackstone Tacos
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- ½ cup salsa
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 16 6-inch corn tortillas
- For serving: shredded cheese tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, salsa, cilantro, Mexican slaw for tacos
Instructions
- Preheat your Blackstone Griddle to medium heat (about 350 - 400 degrees F). Oil well.
- Add the ground beef to your giddle. Cook, breaking apart with a spatula, until the meat starts to brown. Try to keep the meat mixture on one side of the griddle so that you can cook the tortillas on the other side. Add the garlic and sprinkle the taco seasoning over the meat. Stir to combine.
- Add the salsa and stir. Using a squeeze bottle, add just enough water to make the meat mixture saucy.
- Will the meat is cooking, warm the tortillas on the other side of the griddle, about 1 to 3 minutes per side. Use more oil and time for crispy shells, and less for softer shells.
- Remove the meat from the heat and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with lime juice and stir.
