Ingredients & Substitutions
- Mango Chunks – Use ripe, juicy mangoes for the best flavor. Frozen mango is also a great option.
- Sugar –Be careful playing with alternative sweeteners as they can have a big impact on the final consistency. For a sugar-free alternative, I recommend allulose as it provides the best final texture in my experience.
- Water – Helps blend the mango into a smooth puree and ensures the right consistency for freezing.
- Lime Juice – I think lime works best, but you can use lemon juice if that is what you have. Orange juice is also a fun twist.
- Sea Salt – A tiny pinch enhances the overall flavor, making the mango taste even more vibrant.
Tips & Tricks for the Perfect Ninja Creami Mango Sorbet
- Use Ripe Mangoes – The sweeter and juicier your mangoes, the better the sorbet. Overripe fresh mangoes work great, but I usually use frozen mangos.
- Blend Until Smooth – A silky puree ensures the creamiest texture. If needed, add a splash of additional water to help blend.
- Freeze for 24 Hours – Let the mixture freeze completely before processing for the best results. Rushing this step can lead to inconsistent texture.
- Adjust Sweetness Before Freezing – Taste the mixture before freezing and adjust with more sugar or lime juice as needed.
- Experiment with Add-Ins – Stir in coconut flakes, diced fruit, or even a swirl of honey after processing for a fun twist.
- Store Properly – Keep leftovers covered in the Ninja Creami pint with a lid to prevent ice crystals from forming.
- Let It Sit Before Scooping – If the sorbet is too firm straight from the freezer, let it sit for a couple of minutes before enjoying.
Step by Step

Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Mangoes vary in natural sugar content.
