Last month, I shared how much I have been enjoying the Life Reimagined program.
If you missed it, Life Reimagined is an online subscription-based service that helps you explore, dream and plan for what’s next in life. It is an excellent service to help you re-discover what is meaningful to you, look for new possibilities and navigate life’s crossroads. The program offers resources and step-by-step programs geared towards achieving specific outcomes in your life. You can participate in a live chat with a coach, attend groups sessions and have access to a personal coach.
I love everything about the platform, especially working one-on-one with my coach.
Through this process, I’ve learned so much about myself. Sometimes as Mom’s, I think we get so busy that we move into “auto-pilot” mode. If we aren’t careful, we start just surviving instead of thriving.
Working with a coach has allowed me the time to step back and reflect on my goals and priorities.
Even more important, I’m creating actionable items to achieve my goals.
A lot can happen in a month and my life today looks so different than when I started this program.
For starters, we made the decision to return to the beach early this year.
Last year, we didn’t make it here until almost November. This year, we decided things weren’t working where we were and made the leap to come in August.
This decision alone has added so much to my days.
Unless it is raining, you will find our family on the beach every evening from around 5 pm until sundown.
Every night when we leave, Skye – in her totally adorable three-year-old voice – says “And a super-awesome, amazing and great time” and the rest of the family chimes in “was had by all”.
It always warms my heart.
Now that I’m back in my happy place and have started to recover from the trip, I’m getting serious about planning the back half of the year. I mentioned in my last post that although planning is one of my favorite things, I stopped doing it when Skye was born. It has just felt like I don’t have the time.
I will be working on the blog and business, but my number one goal this week is to plan the fun I want to have between now and the end of the year.
Yep, I’m stepping away from work a bit this week and going to be designing a fun fall for the whole family. At my coaches suggestion, I’m dividing this up into categories.
- Fun for the whole family
- Fun by myself
- Fun with my husband
- Fun with the boys
- Fun with Skye
It feels so indulgent to take the kind of time I’ll be taking to plan for fun, but I don’t want to let any more time slip by where I feel like I am stuck in survival mode. It is time to get back to creating those memories!
Try it Yourself!
